Ajrams first litter

There were kittens in the house and we just couldn’t get enough of them. We practically lived in the “kitten room” enjoying this wonder. Months later we decided that Ajram should stay with us and we enjoy her company every day. She is loved by all of us and a bit spoiled. She walks with a regal stride until she changes in a huntress. Could she became a mother? Could she have beautiful kittens?

When Ajram was one year old, she  spent a week with Storm and two month later we started furnishing her kitten room. We gave her a few favourite soft  baskets and blankets and she was very fussy but finally she was content with her “kitten room”.  We were very happy to notice that she was planning to use the “ birth chest”. She has spent her first weeks as a kitten in the box and evidently she had good memories .

On 20-03-2013 Ajrams kittens were born.

 

Although this wasn't our first time seeing kittens born, for us it was an unforgettable experience to be able to witness this wonder. When her first kitten was born, Ajram changed from a carefree cat into a mother and her instinct took over. She focused on her first kitten and she immediately started washing her kitten, and then bit the umbilical cord. The kitten instinctively start looking for her teat en started drinking. When her sister was born, Ajram focussed on her second kitten en her first one got under her body. I was very nervous, but later the first kitten crawled under his mother, and went looking for her mother’s milk bar.

Ajram had 5 beautiful kittens:

Damyanty, Deshima and Daichi, 3 Snow Bengals

Daiki and Davika, two Black tabbies.
