Wasilla is raising eight kittens.

She is an outspoken Bengal, but never impertinent. She loves her leisure activities, although in our opinion they can be strenuous. She spent hours in her garden running free from care, she is a free spirit. We are privileged to spent time with her in her territory; a wild cat in our mini jungle. Wasilla is a perfect mother also, completely following her instincts.

Wasilla is a perfect mother also, completely following her instincts. I am practically glued to her den, it is almost too much loveliness, my sweetheart and our eight sweethearts. They are the most beautiful kittens in the world.
It’s difficult to restrain myself because I like to take part in taking care of the kittens. Wasilla doesn’t need a busy body, so reluctantly I withdraw.

The first 3 weeks Wasilla stays in her den with her kittens and she goes without her walks in her garden. She only leaves them for a moment to visit the litter box. Total serenity in her den and we totally respect that. Wasilla is completely satisfied a proud and self-assured mother. Her kittens are completely safe with their mother in her soft and warm den.
When we make pictures we don’t use flash light or extra light for video. We don’t disturb the kittens because their eyes haven’t opened yet, but we don’t want to disturb Wasilla.

Everything changes when the kittens are a few weeks older and . This is a demanding period for Wasilla caring for her nosy kittens. They only sleep in the den an spent most of the time playing ,running, rough-and- tumbling an inspecting their new environment. After birth their brain is not fully developed yet, there for we like to create new situations for them and so their brain can develop optimally. We give them different toys made from different materials, different sizes and different smells. Playing with them is also very important en we spent lots of time playing with Wasilla and her kittens.
We also give them room to develop physically they need to run at high speed, with their tails as a banner proudly in the air. They learn their predator’s skills by play without no doubt the best way to learn.
By rough and tumble and play they learn their social skills and they learn cats language.

Have an enjoyable day in good company.
                                              Love Conny
