Eight wonderous wonders

Wasilla’s babies are two weeks old and their eyes have opened. They cannot see very well but their hearing is excellent. Wasilla is purring constantly and the kittens sleep and drink at their hearts content. Each of them have their own favourite teat, but sometime one there is a short brawl. Serenity returns because Wasilla is purring and her kittens are drinking or sleeping.

The fleece of the kittens has three different colours: Brown tabby, Seal mink and Seal lynx. They all have a spotted pattern.
Obviously the Black tabby kittens have a warm dark brown spotted pattern, they have dark blue eyes, but they will be green or yellow when they are ten weeks old.

Seal mink kittens are often called Snow Bengals because there fleece is creamy and they have beige spots. The colour of their eyes is wondrous: aquamarine. The colour of their eyes is as exotic as the beautiful precious gem they are named after. Seal mink kittens will have beautiful aquamarine eyes when they are older.

Seal lynx kittens look like bold baby mice when they are born. When their eyes open their eyes are striking light blue. They are the less beautiful duckling turning into a beautiful swan. An adult seal lynx Bengal is a rich creamy white coloured cat with striking blue eyes.

In the next week the kittens will grow and they will get “fuzzy”. This is a phase in their development when their fleece will get longer and they look super cutely and soft. After a few weeks they will look like a real Bengal beauty, still very soft and super cute.
They are starting to move like baby predators and practice their skills by playing. Their days will be filled by drinking, playing, exploring, climbing, and rough and tumble. They will be boisterous kittens and everybody loves them.

In the meantime watch this video at your leisure.

I wish you a happy and relaxed day.
